Job Duties:

Experience in Commercial Plumbing is preferred. You will be assisting a Journeyman Plumber. Must be able to lift 80 pounds, willing to work hard and learn. Must have basic plumbing tools and apprentice license.

Requirements:

Job Duties:

SSP Industries is looking for Pipelayers with seasoned experience for our underground utility division. Pay based on past or recent experience and skills in water and sewer/pipelaying. Concrete forming/finishing knowledge is a plus and the ability to operate light equipment is valued. SSP work week is Monday thru Friday with weekends off. Any weekend/emergency after hours work is paid at a higher rate. Average 10 hours per week of overtime is available.

Requirements:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Locate existing underground utilities by hand digging potholing • Install underground waterlines, sanitary sewer lines and storm sewer lines • Backfill waterlines, sanitary sewer lines and storm drain lines utilizing vibratory plates, tampers, jumping jacks and remote-controlled trench compactors • General labor and other construction activities as assigned. SAFETY •Promote, execute and adhere to SSP safety program • Wear required PPE • OSHA 10 hour safety training preferred but can be obtained upon hire • Attend regular safety trainings. Job Duties:

We are looking to hire an experienced concrete finisher who can expertly place, level, and smooth concrete on a variety of surfaces including roads, sidewalks, curbs, and floors. You will also be required to set forms that hold the concrete in place, patch existing surfaces, cut expansion joints, and monitor the curing of the concrete to ensure a high-quality finish. To be a successful concrete finisher, you must possess the skills necessary for the trade and be familiar with the latest concrete placing technology. You should also be physically able to stand for long periods of time, work on your knees, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in high heat and cold weather. Pipelayer experience is a plus. Concrete Finisher Responsibilities: • Setting forms that hold the concrete in place. • Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for placement issues. • Directing the casting of the concrete with the truck driver. • Placing, smoothing, and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed. This includes handheld tools and power tool versions. • Monitoring the effects of the weather on the curing process. • Applying sealing and hardening components. • Safely operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted. • Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools. • Other duties assigned

Requirements:

Concrete Finisher Requirements: • Minimum 2 years work experience as a concrete laborer or mason. • Ability to stand for long periods. • Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours. • Ability to kneel for long periods. • Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools. • Must be able to pass a background check and additional vetting for military installations in San Antonio. Job Duties:

The Commercial Plumbing Foreman/Superintendent will oversee all phases of a plumbing project. Supervisory Responsibilities: • May direct and supervise the work of laborers, operators, and apprentice plumbers as necessary to aid in safe and efficient completion of tasks. • Submits timecards and requests for time off. • Prepares work schedules and assignments. • Communicates and enforces safety procedures and site rules. Duties/Responsibilities: • Executes a schedule planned from project management team for assigned project. • Collaborates with other staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor. • Coordinates and schedules the work activities of apprentice plumbers, operators, and laborers, communicating to and via project manager to deliver instructions and project assignments as appropriate. • Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness prepares and provides progress reports to project management team makes recommendations for necessary modifications. • Ensures specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed. • Maintains records related to costs and inventory. • Addresses any safety violations or other deficiencies. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles. • Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans. • Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to read blueprints and job specifics. • Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts • Experienced or skilled in all phases of plumbing rough end, stack out, and trim out. • Experienced installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and systems. • Understand the layout of new commercial construction buildings. Education and Experience: • Texas Journeyman Plumbing License from TSBPE Required • At least 2-3 years of experience in commercial plumbing preferred. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather. • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. Job Duties:

We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our range of heavy-duty construction equipment. You will be responsible for driving to the job site, inspecting engines and equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance to the construction fleet. To ensure success as a heavy equipment mechanic, you should have proven experience working with heavy machinery, be physically fit, and be able to troubleshoot issues on the job site. We are looking for someone who is a team player who works well under pressure and can work independently to complete tasks. Responsibilities: Driving to the job site (Killeen, Belton, Temple areas and occasionally San Antonio) to inspect or service machinery. Inspecting trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, etc. and other heavy equipment for proper performance. Diagnosing needed repairs. Procure approximate parts costs for needed repairs. Communicate approximate repair costs to management. Order repair parts as needed. Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts. Repairing damaged equipment parts. Performing major repair work when necessary. Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management. Any additional duties assigned.

Requirements:

Skills/Requirements: Good communication skills. Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic. Ability to lift heavy machinery. Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment. Ability to work after-hours if required. Pass a background check to access military instillation. High school diploma or GED. Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic.
